To stimulate professional growth and improve communications among district instructional materials administrators. 
 

To assist in providing adequate and appropriate instructional materials for all students in support of the total instructional program. 
 

To seek adequate funding for instructional materials through state and district funds. 
 

To provide leadership for the efficient evaluation, requisition, purchase, storage, use and conservation of instructional materials; and to develop sound management practices and property accountability. 
 

To become actively involved in the legislative process as it relates to state adopted instructional materials. 
 

To work actively with other professional organizations to implement the goals and objectives of the association.
